Before You Contact Support
- Check that you are using the latest app version available in the App Store or Google Play.
- If a reading will not play aloud, make sure your device is not on silent and the volume is turned up, then try the Test Voice button in Voice Settings.
- If your daily reminder is not arriving, confirm the app is allowed to send notifications in your device settings.
- If the app closes unexpectedly, restarting your device before reinstalling is worth trying first, since your entries are stored on the device.
Common Questions
How do I change the voice?
Open Voice Settings, tap any voice in the list to hear a short sample, then use the Test Voice button to confirm your choice before leaving the screen.
Why are some voices missing on Android?
The voices come from the speech engine installed on your device, usually Google Speech Services. Installing or updating that engine, and adding the language you want in your device's text-to-speech settings, will make more voices available.
My daily reminder did not arrive.
Check that notifications are enabled for the app. On some Android phones, battery optimisation can also delay or block scheduled reminders, so allowing the app to run in the background helps.
Is my gratitude list or inventory private?
Yes. Everything you write is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us and we cannot read it.
Will I lose my entries if I change phone?
Because your entries are stored on the device rather than in an account, they do not automatically move to a new phone. A full device backup and restore is the way to carry them across.
What should I include in a support email?
Please include your device model, OS version, app version, and a short description of what happened so the issue can be reproduced.
