You can delete your CoPac account at any time. This page explains what happens when you delete your account and how to do it.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once you delete your account, all your data will be removed and you will not be able to recover it.
When you delete your CoPac account:
- Your account is immediately closed — You will not be able to sign back in with the same credentials.
- All personal data is deleted — Your profile information, email, and preferences are removed from our database within 30 days.
- All earned tokens are forfeited — Any tokens you have earned will be lost and cannot be recovered or transferred.
- Pack memberships are terminated — You will be removed from all active and completed packs.
- Your feedback is removed — Any feedback or reviews you submitted are deleted.
- Complaint records are retained — Admin records related to complaints you filed or received may be retained for compliance and legal purposes.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the CoPac app on your device.
- Go to Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
- Scroll to the bottom of the settings screen.
- Tap "Delete Account" (in red).
- Read the warning about permanent deletion.
- Confirm deletion by tapping "Yes, Delete My Account".
- Your account is now deleted — You will be logged out immediately.
Before You Delete
Consider these points before permanently deleting your account:
- You cannot recover your account — Once deleted, deletion is final. A new account will be treated as a separate user.
- You will lose all earned tokens — Tokens have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, but they recognize your participation.
- You will be removed from active packs — If you are testing an app in an active pack, you will be removed and the developer will know you're no longer participating.
- Your feedback will be deleted — Any reviews or feedback you submitted will be removed from the app developer's view.
- Export your data first (if needed) — Take screenshots or notes of any important information you want to keep before deleting.
If You Change Your Mind
If you delete your account and later want to rejoin CoPac, you can create a new account with the same or a different email address. However:
- You will start as a new member with zero tokens.
- Your old feedback and history will not be accessible.
- You will be treated as a different user.
