Test apps, earn tokens

Welcome to CoPac. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CoPac mobile application and platform. By downloading, installing, or using CoPac, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the app.

1. Account and Membership

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use CoPac. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

1.2 Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update this information as necessary. You are solely responsible for any misuse of your account.

1.3 Member Roles

In CoPac, a single Member account can participate in multiple packs with different roles:

• Developer: Brings an app to a pack and tests it alongside testers.
• Tester: Provides feedback on apps without contributing an app.

Your role is pack-specific and contextual, not a permanent account attribute. You may be a Developer in one pack and a Tester in another.

2. Packs and Testing

2.1 Pack Formation and Participation

Packs are temporary groups of members formed to test apps over a set period (typically 7 days). By joining a pack, you agree to:

• Participate in good faith and provide honest feedback.
• Complete assigned tasks as described.
• Test apps responsibly and report issues or bugs you discover.
• Respect other pack members and follow community guidelines.

2.2 App Submission (Developers)

If you submit an app to a pack as a Developer, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the rights to the app you are submitting.
• The app is legal, safe, and does not violate any third-party rights.
• The app does not contain malware, viruses, or harmful code.
• You comply with all applicable laws and platform policies (Apple App Store, Google Play Store).

CoPac is not responsible for the content or functionality of submitted apps. Developers are solely responsible for their apps.

2.3 Feedback and Reviews (Testers)

As a Tester, you agree to:

• Provide honest, constructive feedback based on your genuine experience.
• Not engage in malicious, deceptive, or spam feedback.
• Not share feedback or task details outside the pack without permission.
• Respect the Developer's intellectual property and confidentiality.

3. Token System and Rewards

3.1 Token Earning

Members earn tokens through:

• Completing daily tasks during a pack run.
• Submitting quality feedback on apps.
• Successfully completing a full pack run (7-day participation).

Token amounts are determined solely by CoPac and may be adjusted at any time. Tokens are earned through participation and are not purchased.

3.2 Token Value and Use

Tokens are a virtual reward system with no monetary value. Tokens cannot be redeemed for cash, refunds, or real money. Tokens are provided as recognition for your participation and cannot be transferred to other members.

3.3 Token Forfeiture

If your account is suspended or terminated due to violation of these Terms or our policies, you forfeit all earned tokens without compensation or refund.

4. Payment Policy (Strictly Enforced)

4.1 No Personal Payment Required

Members must never be asked to purchase anything with personal payment methods as part of testing or pack participation. This is a core policy of CoPac:

• Developers may not ask Testers to use their personal payment methods to test payment flows.
• If payment testing is necessary, Developers must provide test cards, sandbox environments, or demo accounts with pre-loaded credits.
• No member should ever incur real charges for work-related testing.

4.2 Reporting Payment Policy Violations

If a Developer or any member asks you to use your personal payment method, this is a serious policy violation. You can report this immediately through the app's reporting system. We take these violations seriously and will investigate and take action.

4.3 Test Payment Methods

When testing payment flows, you may be asked to use:

• Stripe test card numbers (e.g., 4242 4242 4242 4242)
• Sandbox Apple ID accounts and TestFlight
• Google Play test accounts
• Demo accounts with pre-loaded credits
• Staging or mock payment environments

All of these are free and do not result in real charges.

5. Code of Conduct

5.1 Prohibited Behavior

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or threaten other members.
• Submit false, misleading, or malicious feedback.
• Attempt to manipulate pack results or token distribution.
• Share confidential app information outside the pack.
• Circumvent app restrictions or test limits.
• Engage in spam, phishing, or deceptive practices.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

5.2 Enforcement and Consequences

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:

• Removal from a pack.
• Suspension or termination of your account.
• Forfeiture of earned tokens.
• Legal action if necessary.

6. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

6.1 Member Complaints

You can report other members for abuse, misconduct, spam, or other violations. Submit your complaint through the app:

• Select the member's profile.
• Choose a complaint category.
• Provide details of the issue.

Admins will review your complaint and notify you of the outcome.

6.2 Task Complaints

If a task involves a payment request or other violations, you can report it directly from the task screen. This triggers an immediate admin review.

6.3 Admin Decisions

CoPac admins have sole authority to review complaints and decide whether to uphold or dismiss them. Admin decisions are final and binding.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of feedback and reviews you submit. By submitting feedback through CoPac, you grant CoPac and the app Developer the right to use your feedback for app improvement and marketing purposes.

7.2 CoPac Content

All CoPac content, including the app, logo, and branding, is owned by CoPac and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute CoPac content without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COPAC IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

CoPac is not responsible for:

• The quality, functionality, or safety of submitted apps.
• Any harm, damage, or loss caused by apps you test.
• Data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access (though we implement reasonable security measures).
• Disputes between members.
• Technical issues, downtime, or service interruptions.

IN NO EVENT SHALL COPAC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

9. Termination

9.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

9.2 Our Right to Terminate

CoPac may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms or our policies.
• Harmful, abusive, or illegal behavior.
• Policy violations related to payments, feedback, or conduct.
• Any other reason at CoPac's sole discretion.

Upon termination, your access to CoPac is immediately revoked and all earned tokens are forfeited.

10. Changes to Terms

CoPac may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with changes, you may delete your account.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where CoPac operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
